This booty is in gear.

If hearing about other peoples' workout goals and progress bores the heck outta ya, I encourage you to just scroll down and look at the cute pictures of my baby. Oh, so that just leaves my mom? Cool. Thanks for reading, mom.

I got the clear to start normal activity a couple weeks ago(cough cough- NORMAL? Any mom out there can probably empathize with me when I say that exercising post-baby is not NORMAL. Just ask the Turbokick instructor that got to watch me grimace every time I jumped during her class because I was so nervous my bladder was going to leak. This is not normal. Also not normal is sharing this but since its just my mom reading I think I am okay.)

I am so glad to be back. Ever since I quite jogging a couple months before baby B was born I would see people jogging outside and stare longingly. Which was pretty creepy considering 99% were either woman or very old men. Which reminds me- if you are a man and have legs this disqualifies you from being able to wear short spandex. Mom- please tell dad just in case. Thanks.*

I have been at pre-preg weight for awhile but am nowhere near where I would like to be. As in, I feel like 7 years of toning is in my future before I am happy. In the meantime, here is my plan-

1. Live-fit trainer workout plan found here. Cooper and I are on our third week of phase one and are loving it, especially since we can workout in the gym at our apartment with our little mascot-

...Looks like i'm not the only one who likes staring at him.

2. I am not supposed to do cardio during the first phase of our program, but running is such a release for me and how can I resist jogging outside when my neighborhood looks like this?-

3. And when I don't want to run outside or take a Turbokick class at my gym, we got me this little toy for FREE-

Here's to getting cute-one-piece-season ready by summer 2019! What are you doing to get your booty in gear?

Peace, love and getting healthy!

OKay, hi. You are tiny. Second of all, you are tiny. We knuckled down and bought ourselves a spin bike about 6 months ago and it's a dream. I can watch multiple episodes on tv and work out in the comfort of my own home. Oh, and we eat pretty healthy....Try greek yogurt with a little granola in the mornings. It's the ONLY thing that I have found (besides eggs) to tie me over into the afternoon/lunch hour!

Whyyyy don't we live by each other? I really need a workout buddy! I'm hoping now that I'm in my second trimester working out will be a little easier and I'll enjoy doing it again? Because, oh my lanta, I have never felt so weak, so out of shape, and so breathless before!! The first trimester was SO hard to work out! My body literally just wouldn't/couldn't handle it. And I'm having a difficult time getting back on the band wagon :(
