A bad incident and Instagram

I got me an Iphone last week and have finally ripped my face from it long enough to blog. The sacrifices we make...Do you have Instagram? I do! Come find me- @shalynanderson1.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Now, I am going to tell you a story about a dear, sweet girl who happened to be suffering from 2 conditions recently- pregnancy brain and blonde brain, while embarking on a shopping trip to her beloved clothing store, Ross.
She had been seperated from her party and was in the checkout line with the cart they had been sharing, when the rest of her group walked up with another cart. "Hmm, that seems a little funny that they would have gotten ANOTHER cart- I would have given them this one if they needed it," she thought. She then asked them to take their items so that she could pay for hers, not thinking anything of it. Thinking is not something she does very often unless it's about pepperoni pizza,doughnuts or of course, Cheez-its.
But the items in her cart did not belong to them.
And the whole checkout line snickered at her. A ridiculous amount of snickers, actually.
You see, somehow in the hour she had been in the store she had stolen someone elses cart full of mens shirts and kitchen scrub brushes.
And this poor, poor soul has no stinking idea when or why she commandeered the cart. One thing she did know- she definitely did NOT need mens shirts or scrub brushes. Why couldn't she have taken a cart full of candy bars or shoes?
And her face is still red thinking about it. She is just sure some poor old lady is still roaming around Ross looking for her scrub brushes and mens shirts...
Good thing it wasn't me because I think we can all agree that this girl is pretty pathetic...
Peace, love and not going out in public until this baby is out of me for the sanity and safety of all! Happy Friday!
I hear about stuff like this all the time! I can ONLY IMAGINE the way I will be when I am pregnant - I am already blonde enough haha!
haha! I could totally see myself doing this. I am not even pregnant but sometimes when I grocery shop with my husband I'll think he is next to me and start talking to a complete stranger instead!
harmless, my dear. at least you didn't get them to the register and try to figure out how you were going to pay for those men's shirts and scrub brushes just to save having to admit to swiping someone else's cart!
Oh Shalyn... I just love you! There is nothing wrong with being a little blonde at times.. I sometimes get the words anorexic and ambidextrous mixed up :)
Shalyn... this is why I LOVE you :) This is totally something I'd do!
At least their purse wasn't in the cart, too. That would've made the situation SO bad!
Someday I'll have an iPhone... and when I do? I'll definitely be following you on instagram!
P.S. I've been meaning to send you a message on FB after reading your story... Shay you are SO strong! I've been quite the baby about our move, but I hasn't really affected my life besides uprooting me from my friends and an area I loved. You inspire me to be a better wife, and to have more faith and trust that the Lord is leading us exactly where we need to be!
