Ingredients for the casserole:
4 skinless, boneless chicken breast halves
1/2 cup butter, melted
1 sleeve buttery round crackers (such as Ritz®), crushed
1 teaspoon poppy seeds, or more if desired
1 (8 ounce) container sour cream
1 (10.75 ounce) can condensed cream of chicken soup
2 cups shredded Cheddar cheese
Directions
Directions 1.Place the chicken breasts into a large pot and cover with water. Bring to a boil over high heat, then reduce heat to medium, cover, and simmer until the chicken breasts are no longer pink in the center, about 20 minutes. Drain the water, then shred the chicken.
2.Preheat an oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Combine the butter, crackers, and poppy seeds in a bowl; set aside.
3.Blend the sour cream and cream of chicken soup in a bowl; pour half of the soup mixture into a 9x9-inch baking dish. Add the shredded chicken, then pour the remaining half of the soup mixture on top. Sprinkle with Cheddar cheese, then top with the cracker mixture.
4.Bake in the preheated oven until cheese has melted and the sauce is bubbly, 25 to 30 minutes.
5. Watch the clock and drool for the whole 25-30 minutes. Sometimes food takes way too long and it's not nice...
6. Take silly pictures showing how yummy the casserole is
Clearly. If I would have seen this picture without knowing what what going on, I would have thought to myself, "self- they really look like they are enjoying that there casserole!"

Maybe not.
5. Thank us for sharing this with you and tell me how my taste in food is impeccable. And then I will say back, "Oh, you are too kind! It's a gift, really"
6. Go to Chik-Fil-a and Yogurtini because 3 helpings of casserole AND potato skins is clearly NOT enough to fill anyone. Call us heffers and see what happens...
(Yes, I am wrapped in a blanket- we are in a jeep and its chilly!)
And there you have it-perfection in the form of poppy seeds and frozen yogurt!
~I had a reader come up to me today to say hi who I had not met (Hey Taryn!) and it made my day, thanks girl!~
Peace, love and working out so you can eat like we do! I hope your Monday is as magical as mine is going to be- studying for a 350 question test! YESSSSSSSSS!!!
Dont forget to head to the mingle and also join my giveaway!
